Family Finance started in 1976 as a Northland finance company when Brian and Rosemary Archibald missed their first house purchase by just 30 minutes. With the deposit they could no longer use, they began financing purchases for Kaitaia locals.
Since then, we have helped more than 400 Northland families get ahead, with more than 1,500 loans processed. In 2008 we were the proud recipient of the Top Energy Tall Poppy Award and were a finalist in the Northland Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards.
Today, Family Finance is still family owned and managed by the founders, alongside the next generation, Tom Archibald. This Northland finance company has grown and evolved, but the core values from back in the day still stand: Local, friendly, easy finance solutions for the people of Northland.
